Global Studies Symposium
It is our honor to invite you and your group to the 2018 Global Studies Symposium, a collaborative effort between the University of Kansas Area Studies Centers and Donnelly College, on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. in the Kansas Memorial Union.
Faculty from KU and Donnelly College will introduce attendees to surprising and new ideas about histories, cultures, societies, and environments from around the world. In addition, students from both KU and Donnelly will participate in a panel, present interdiscplinary research, and perform readings of creative work.
The symposium will include a working-lunch for all attendees to encourage community and networking. During lunch will be a student panel discussion about discovering a path in international area studies and preparing for careers, internships, civil-service, and graduate school.
This event is free and open to the public. Kansas and Missouri 9-12th grade students, K-12 teachers, community college instructors, lecturers, and school support staff are encouraged to attend. Register here.
