Committees

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies retains an undergraduate, graduate, and executive committee tasked with providing oversight on the undergraduate program, graduate program and core duties and mission of the Center, respectively. Committees are formed by affiliated faculty and serve limited terms.

Executive Committee

The Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies Executive Committee plays the largest role in CLACS oversight with core faculty members spanning the University, including scholars from the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, professional schools, the library, and the CLACS Director and Associate Director. Major duties include development, interpretation, and implementation of policies, grant development, curricular changes, scholarly awards, and a variety of other activities.
