The center very proud to win a $10,000 award from the KU Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) for being “an exceptional learning community that lifts each member and advances society.” The money is intended to support of our campus-wide programs and initiatives, particularly in promoting DEIB. KU’s efforts to “realize intersectional standards of excellence, ensure student success, foster healthy and vibrant communities, and promote research and discovery” overlap with both the Office of DEIB’s and our center’s missions.
